Meet The CEO
God has always given her visionary, Angela Riggins a love and compassion for children and families. As a military wife she has traveled the world and it has allowed her to help the hurting, lost, weak, and strong. The journey has molded her life to minister to the broken -hearted. With over 25 years of experience as a daycare worker, teacher's aid, and a reading specialist in the public school system. She's also served as a houseparent and a director in a community-based youth service agency.
The ministry offers a family-centered approach born out of love and determination. Angela's inspiration came from one of her grandchildren who was diagnosed with Spinal Bifida and her son who suffered from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. In 2016 her son committed suicide and the Lord gave her a renewed vision. Riggins wanted to create a place where people can heal. The Melting Pot Healing Center was founded in . Although her family have experienced storms from domestic violence to economic and emotional struggles, they have always allowed themselves to be a vessel and answered God's call to fill the void.
